EPOVAR – SF – Epoxy – Solvent Free – Floor Coatings two pack polyamine cured epoxy clear coat designed to be used as a finish coat in the fields of water tank lining, steel structures, anti-chemicals flooring, fuel tank lining and crude oil tank lining and as an adhesive for wood, fiber glass sheets, vinyl sheets and wall papers over surfaces of steel, concrete and wood with outstanding chemical resistance to a wide variety of chemicals such as alkaline, fuels and strong acid (ex. Sulphuric acid up to 40%).

Suitable Surfaces
-Suitable for concrete floors and marine decks
-Steel marine decks must be sand blasted to SIS-Sa 21/2 minimum
-Concrete surface prepared by using dust free captive blasting units, grinding equipment, sand blasting or high pressure water jetting
-This is critical for achieving the right surface profile prior to paint application.
Bare Steel:
Cleanliness: Blast – cleaning to Sa2 1/2 (ISO-8501-1:2007). Power tool cleaning to min. St2 (ISO 8501-1:2007) may be acceptable, subject to exposure conditions.
Shopprimed Steel:
Clean, dry and undamaged approved shopprimer
Coated Surfaces:
Clean, dry and undamaged compatible primer .
Application Conditions
Substrate temperature should be 10°C or above for application and during cure and a minimum of 3°C above the dew point. Adequate dry air ventilation is recommended for optimum drying.
Application Information
Component A ( base ) must be thoroughly mixed before adding components B & C.
Brush and Roller
Stiff nylon brush or spiked roller.
Cleaning Thinner
Equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with Paint Thinner Colorama TH907EP.
Drying time:
Drying times are affected by air ventilation, temperature, film thickness and number of coats.

Storage:
Keep the containers in a dry, cool, well ventilated space and away from source of heat and ignition. Containers must be kept tightly closed.
